Communication Workshops & Speaking

A mediocre teacher tells. A good teacher explains. A superior teacher demonstrates.

The great teacher inspires.

Real Problems, Real Solutions

Sarah & Company Communications Owner Sarah Artis delivers all our training & workshops, on a range of topics.

Sarah is direct and honest. She connects with people from all walks of life. Sarah doesn’t hide her mistakes or shy away from talking about the nitty, gritty, embarrassing moments and details of her life and work. Instead she uses this material to help her audience feel comfortable, laugh and learn.

Teachings mix stories, philosophies and skill building, relevant to both work and life. Sarah’s personal and professional lives are blended, and she finds that much of what she learns in her work applies to her personal life and vice versa – especially when it comes to communications.

Customized Content

We tailor courses specifically to you and your organization’s challenges, needs, goals, budget and timeline. As much as possible, we use examples and exercises with real life issues and scenarios from your work. So you can implement what you learn in the workshop, right away.

Intimate, Interactive & Hands-On Exercises

Nobody wants to listen to someone else talk for hours. Sarah engages participants with interactive, hands-on learning. Participants practice what they are learning during the training and workshops.

Stories to Tell

Just don’t judge all her ‘My kids are making me crazy’ Facebook posts. Sarah’s human like everyone else and she isn’t afraid to show it. That’s what makes her such a good speaker.

Very informative, great voice, great message and great educator. Very personable and passionate about material taught. My only complaint is that I want to know more.

Party Pooper Workshop Participant

The workshop helped us come together to realize our values. This topic seems like it would take days to cover. This condensed version required us to work a bit harder to focus on the goal, and for this organization that takes a lot of guidance – and Sarah achieved that.

Kitselas Visioning Workshop Participant

Sarah is knowledgeable and engaging. Directs the group well and interacts with everyone. Great summary with so much detail to dive into.
